Before I was a wedding photographer, I was a wedding singer. True story! However, its pretty hard to do them both at the same time, so photography won out. Mostly because not everyone has a live singer at their ceremony or reception, but everyone needs a photographer. This means I get to attend more weddings. Which is great for me, because, I LOVE WEDDINGS.
It is also nice to be behind the camera at weddings instead of a microphone, because a camera hides my tears when I get caught up in the love the couple shares. I WILL CRY AT YOUR WEDDING! Even if we only really meet the minute before you walk down the aisle, I will cry when you read your vows or when the father-of-the-bride and the groom shake hands. It is without fail that I will tear up at least once at every wedding. Funny thing is, I didn't even cry at my own wedding...like not once (I chalk it up to nerves). So know that, even after dozens of weddings, if you see a tear rolling down from behind my camera, it is because your love amazes me!

That is really why I am a photographer: to capture love. Be it the love between a couple, the love of a family for their new child, the love between a person and their dog and even the love that siblings share (I swear it does exist...well I can at least make it look like it does for the pictures!).
