Melanie + Reed - A winter engagement session in Hinton, Alberta

I met up with Melanie and Reed today at the Beaver Boardwalk in Hinton to photograph their engagement session. We have had ridiculous wind for the last two days so all the pretty, pretty snow was blown off the trees. However, I think we were able to set a beautiful wintery scene to perfectly capture their love.

They drank hot chocolate while snuggled on a blanket, shielded from the wind by the trees. Melanie's mug expresses what she wanted to say when Reed proposed. However, when he proposed while they were fishing on their boat, Melanie was so shocked she said "no, no" out of disbelief. 

These two are pretty adorable, so I am super pumped to photograph their wedding at the Hinton Golf Course in June!
